Patty Wallman
Hi, my name is Patty Wallman.  I began my journey toward natural health and well-being about 30 years ago, all thanks to an ulcer and a pepper!  At the time I would describe myself as a worrier and a perfectionist who ate a typical nutritionally poor diet.  And, like many others, I developed a very painful bleeding ulcer.

After suffering for quite a while with the ulcer and visiting the ER twice I decided to go to a doctor recommended by a friend.  His prescription?  No spicy food and a gulp of Mylanta every few hours.  When I asked him how long I should continue this treatment he replied, "Well, I've been doing it for 20 years!"  His answer changed my life.  I could not imagine taking that stuff and eliminating my beloved Mexican food for life!

Meanwhile, a friend of mine had just taken a class at the San Francisco School of Herbology.  After hearing of my stomach problems, she recommended that I try, of all things, cayenne pepper.  She handed me a book --Back to Eden, by Jethro Kloss--and encouraged me to read the section on the healing qualities of this particular pepper.  What I read astounded me.  Could it possibly be true?  I decided to try it, and right then and there my journey began.

I bought some cayenne from a local health food store and started sprinkling it on my food.  Not only did it heal my ulcers; I was amazed to discover that it also healed another painful condition I had suffered with for years, chronic strep throat.  To this day I have not had another ulcer or bout with strep throat.

I was so fascinated with the experience and amazed by the results that I continued to research and use natural remedies whenever a health issue came up for myself and my family.  I changed my diet by becoming a vegetarian and taught myself yoga exercise from a book.  (Then I met Emily and kicked it up a notch!)  I started power walking, running, hiking, rebounding and whatever I could do to keep moving.  Thirty years later I feel so thankful and blessed.  At an age (I'm 60) when so many hereditary conditions and diseases can become life-altering, if not life-threatening, I am in the best health of my life.  I have made a conscious choice to be open-minded and curious about natural health and healing and as a result I have learned a lot and met many wonderful people along the way.

A few years ago I met a 29 year old man who had just been diagnosed with MS.  He decided to investigate natural remedies to deal with this devastating illness.  He began using a detoxing footbath in his treatment, along with other methods of detoxifying his body.  He had such success that I had to check it out for myself.  I found that the science behind the ionic footbath is simple, but the results you see are truly amazing.  After a series of treatments I found that the footbath was a surprisingly relaxing experience and before long I was administering them myself in a local health center.  More recently I branched out on my own to do footbath sessions in my client's homes, where I finish the treatments with a relaxing foot massage.

I love it because I can help people take a few minutes out of their busy day to sit, relax, tune out the world, and do something healthy for themselves.  With most people being unfamiliar with the technology, they are often surprised at the results--both physically and mentally.  I invite you to try it for yourself sometime.  You may be surprised as well!
